If you are looking for local switchers from two different railroads come up to the Danville Jct and Lewiston Jct areas. They are close together and tend to be good bets for action. Danville Jct is at 40 Grain Mill Rd, Auburn, ME 04210, 44.022040, -70.265613 mp 167.5 and Lewsion Jct is at 560 Lewiston Junction Rd, Auburn, ME 04210, 44.046304, -70.298549.
Grain Mill Rd. is thought to be a private road on private property. When I park there I don't go more than three or four car lengths in so that I don't upset the locals.
